Using the ‘Foldlines Add/Remove’ command, fold lines can be manually added or removed to/from the existing frame. The Foldlines will automatically change if you change the paper size of the 2D drawing.
Placing Foldlines is done according to DIN 824. The following paper formats can have fold lines:
A0 (landscape)
A1 (landscape)
A2 (landscape & portrait)
A3 (landscape)
To clarify the use of the command, a few folding example are provided.
Remark
The ‘Foldlines Add/Remove’ command only works with a custom border. If you are using the ‘Default Border’, unfortunately fold lines cannot be placed.
Hint
Activate the fold lines in your templates, that avoids the need to turn them on for each drawing.
